Respawn Entertainment recently revealed a new Playable character, Valkyrie, voiced by Erika Ishhi, the voice behind Ana Bray (Destiny 2). She is one of the many Titanfall related characters who are set to make an appearance in Apex to solidify the connection between the series even further. Ashley Reed, Apex’s senior previously said that “Titanfall’s very much a part of the universe.”

However, if the leaks are to be believed then Apex might be getting another character titled “Pariah” who was discovered by an Apex data miner Biast12. Pariah has three abilities, including a passive ability “Aplomb Training” that lets them see an enemy’s health bar while Pariah’s tactical ability “Sonar Grenade” will reveal enemies in the area of effect for 15 seconds, and Pariah’s Ultimate ability “Sacrificial Romantic” prevents them from moving and releases clouds of steam that damages and burns enemies inside of it.

Four of Pariah’s Legendary skins ‘Secret Service’, ‘Lost Archive’,’ Phantom Edge’ and ‘Chimera Effect’; were also leaked, this is, however, unconfirmed as there are no textures for the said skins and their names might be subject to change prior to the character’s release. Reportedly, World’s Edge and Olympus maps will be getting a visual overhaul with their own set of changes.

Earlier this week, EA and Respawn revealed that the battle-royale hit a milestone of 100 million players which is unsurprising given how the game is widely available across multiple platforms and it was the biggest free-to-play game in 2019, its Steam release in November 2020 also contributed to higher player numbers as well as new players. Season 9 of Apex Legends is set to roll out on May 4 and will heavily focus on elements from the Titanfall series.
